Florida Man April 22, 2017 – Chased Down 2 Teenage Boys and Threaten Them
BROWARD COUNTY. Fla. – Two teenage boys were driving around Pembroke Pines and that made our Florida Man upset.
Miami Herald reported that a 49-year-old Southern Florida man, Mario Perez saw a black convertible driven by a couple of teens. What got him upset was that the teens were driving through a gated community, the police stated.
Perez chased the teens, who are 15 and 19. The driver stopped briefly, and Perez began to yell at them. Fearing for their safety, they started to drive away but Perez kept following them, according to the report.
The teens stopped at the exit gate of the community; and Perez got out of his car with a gun in his hand, pointed it to the young driver and instructed him to take the key out of the ignition.
Perez then punched the driver then walked towards the passenger side of the car and held the gun on the passenger’s neck. With the gun on the passenger’s neck, Perez told the driver he had 10 seconds to turn the car back on or he would shoot the passenger. To which the teen driver complied. Perez then punched the passenger.
As Perez began to walk away, he then said “If I ever see you again, I’m gonna kill you,” and hit the driver in the face again, the reports said.
The teens immediately reported the incident to the authorities. Perez is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, the Herald told.
Florida Man April 22, 2018 – Killed 4 People With Machete
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A 22-year-old suspect is guilty of killing his aunt, her pregnant daughter, and her boyfriend with a machete.
Brian Hyde killed 4 people with a machete in their Lehigh Acres home. The victims are identified as Dorla Pitts, 37, the suspect’s daughter, Starlette Pitts, 17, including her unborn 6-month child in her womb, and her boyfriend, Michael Deon Kelly 19. This incident happened in 2015.
Authorities pulled Hyde over for driving erratically.
A jury deliberated for nearly three hours Friday then found Hyde guilty of four counts of second-degree murder. The prosecutors added the additional murder charge for Starlette’s unborn child.
He will be sentenced June 11th where he faces life in prison.
Florida Man April 22, 2020 – Beat His Roommate For Waking Him Up for Breakfast
Florida man got so angry that he slammed his roommate to the ground for waking him up. The 69-year-old victim woke him up to let him know breakfast was ready, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
The 62-year-old suspect, Clay Walters was sleeping in bed shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday when his roommate knocked on his door to let him know that breakfast was ready.
Walters was upset for being woken up and started yelling at his roommate and threw him on the kitchen floor and continued hitting him.
According to the report, Walters went back to his room after the attacks until law enforcement arrived.
The victim had cuts and bruises on his arm. There were two droplets of blood on the kitchen floor as well, according to the reports.
Deputies said Walters was calm but upset about the fight. He admitted to knocking his roommate on the ground but but denied attacking him.
They have another roommate who heard the argument and some noise but didn’t see the fight.
Walters was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery on a person 65 or older.
