Florida Man April 2, 2020 – Assaulted with Covid

The incident occurred while the Florida man was in custody for domestic violence. James Jamal Curry, 31, was arrested last Saturday in his home for pushing a woman against a wall.

Police knew that the suspect was a trained martial artist and could be aggressive with his combat skills. This led police to be extra cautious while arresting Curry.

Their fears turned true when Curry resisted arrest and refused to get in the police car. After the Florida man began fighting, three officers pepper-sprayed him to get him to comply.

Afterward, while inside the car, he attempted to kick out the rear window to escape.

When the officers attempted to stop his escape attempt, curry spit in one of their faces. He then claimed that he was positive for the virus. That’s why he did it to infect the officer with it, stated in the affidavit.

Witnesses heard Curry threatening the police officer, telling her, “I know where you live, and I am going to come to kill you.”

This incident occurred when Pinellas County was in lockdown.

However, Curry still faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer, criminal mischief, quarantine violation, and resisting an officer with violence.

Florida Man April 2, 2020 – Brutally Murder a Man with a Vacuum Cleaner

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – On April 2, 2020, a Florida man was found murdered. The man’s face was unrecognizable because he was beaten brutally in the head with a vacuum cleaner, Kissimmee Police Department stated.

A man found the body near a dumpster at Cheo Auto Repair in Donegan Avenue and immediately reported it to the police.

In the arrest affidavit, a detective said you could see how much violence occurred in the scene where blood, brain matter, and bone fragments were all over the area.

Broken parts of a vacuum cleaner were found scattered around the scene. As well as a wooden plank, according to the detectives.

Police reviewed a surveillance video from the dumpster area. In the video, a suspect was attacking the victim.

He was identified as Angel Olmeda Rivera, 44. Rivera was caught on camera coming back at least five times to attack the victim with his fist, feet, vacuum cleaner, and a wooden board.

In an interview last March 17 with Olmeda Rivera, he stated that he had no memory of what happened in his previous days.

According to the report, he could not explain where he got all the bruises on his hands and arms.

The lead detective stated, “Angel looked at me, smiled, and laughed at this. He did not appear shocked, remorseful, or concerned with this information; instead, he seemed amused by it after being told that he murdered someone.”

The victim’s identity was not released to the media but eventually was identified through fingerprints.

Olmeda Rivera is in custody in Osceola County Jail with a murder charge and no bond.
